Originating from the Southwest of Mexico, the California geranium is a shrub that grows to a height of 1 to 1.5 m.
Its leaves are large, with wavy edges and fuzzy on the surface. The underside of the leaf is grayish and the peduncles are long and reddish in color. The leaves of the California geranium change from green to a reddish color in cold weather. The flowers are yellow in color and appear in clusters.
