Selwo Aventura receives the Solidarity Company distinction

The Spanish companies that are part of the Parques Reunidos Group have been distinguished with the Solidarity Company distinction, issued by the Third Sector Platform, which recognizes those companies that seek to generate a positive impact on society through the Solidarity Company checkbox of the Corporate Income Tax.

Thus, we are part of the group of “Companies with Impact” recognized by the Third Sector Platform, which brings together the seven most representative Spanish organizations in the social field, regional Third Sector Platforms and collaborating entities, representing more than 28,000 social entities, more than half a million workers and one and a half million volunteers. By joining the Casilla Empresa Solidaria campaign, which raised more than 43 million euros in 2022, the parks and companies in Spain of the Parques Reunidos Group take another step forward in our objectives, enabling the Third Sector to have an additional economic contribution to carry out, in an efficient and traceable manner, actions that have an impact on the social welfare of groups in vulnerable situations.

It is worth remembering that, according to data from the report 'The State of Poverty' by the European Anti-Poverty and Social Exclusion Network in Spain (EAPN-ES), more than 27% of people in Spain are in a situation of social exclusion or poverty, which reaches more than 13 million of the population. In the current context of social, environmental and geopolitical crisis, the gaps and social uncertainty have increased the social demands attended by the Third Sector, a fundamental support to carry out a fair social transformation.
